The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced that students who have passed Class 12 for the 2024–2025 academic year can apply for the ‘Grade Improvement Service’ through the ministry’s online portal, ‘Al-Ma’arif’. Applications will be open until July 31, 2025.
This service allows students to re-sit the second round of exams in subjects of their choice to improve their overall grade. The original passing certificate will remain valid, and new grades will be applied only to the subjects selected for improvement. The original marks will be retained in the rest.
The exams will cover the entire academic syllabus, and students must appear for all the exams they have chosen to obtain a revised ‘Grade Improvement Certificate’. If a student fails any exam, a new certificate will not be issued.
