Qatar Customs has issued a public warning against fake messages that ask people to click on fake links under the guise of customs parcel notifications.

In an official statement issued on July 15, 2025, Qatar Customs clarified that these messages are not issued by the authority or any of its official partners. Fraudulent messages are usually in the form of requests to provide personal address details or make payments through suspicious links.

The authority stressed that all legitimate communications are only made through Qatar Customs’ verified official channels.

The public is strictly advised not to click on links from suspicious sources and not to share personal or banking information. Qatar Customs encouraged individuals to report and verify suspicious messages with the relevant authorities.
