The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has officially launched Student Activity Centers 2025, a nationwide program aimed at offering educational and recreational activities to Qatari and residential students during the summer holidays. The initiative, which will run from July 13 to August 7, targets students aged 6 to 18, and will operate from Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm.
A total of eight centers have been set up across the country – four for boys and four for girls – and the program welcomes both public school students and Qatari students in private schools. The centers are designed to foster creativity, leadership, life skills, and civic responsibility through a variety of activities, including educational, cultural, artistic, technical, and sports programs.
This year’s curriculum includes contemporary topics such as AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, digital innovation, moral education, and public health, reflecting the ministry’s goal of meeting the psychological, social, and educational needs of students in a safe and engaging environment.
A key feature of this year’s program is the “School Innovation Incubators,” developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Scientific Club, which provide students with training in robotics, 3D printing, and entrepreneurship.
