The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the temporary closure of a section of Safran Street between the junction of Al Khaws Street and Street 1710, effective from Wednesday, July 9.

The temporary closure is to facilitate asphalt paving, road marking and signage work as part of road improvement activities. Ashghal urged motorists to use alternative routes via Al Mazrua Road, Street 1710 or Al Khaws Street to reach their destinations during the closure period.

The authority urged all road users to obey traffic signs and adhere to speed limits to ensure safety.
