Qatar Meteorology Department has announced the start of Haga Star on July 4, the third summer star in the local astronomical calendar. This seasonal phase will last for 13 days.
Officials say that the Indian monsoon low pressure will control atmospheric conditions in most parts of the Arabian Peninsula during this period. As a result, the country is expected to experience an increase in hot winds, dust storms and intense heat.
Meteorologists noted that this time is usually the driest time of the summer, with very little chance of rain and increased discomfort due to extreme temperatures.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and stay hydrated.
