The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced two temporary road closures this weekend for essential maintenance.
The Shark Intersection Tunnel on Al Corniche Road will be partially closed overnight from March 20, 2025 to June 23, 2025. The road will be closed from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM every day for road surface maintenance.
In addition, there will be a temporary closure on New Al Wakra Road in the direction of Muaither Al Wukair from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Friday, June 20, 2025, for maintenance related to directional signs.
Ashghal advised motorists to follow the diversion signs and use alternative routes as indicated on the traffic maps provided.
