The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is temporarily closing Al-Nouf Street in Al-Khor and Sekrit Street in Umm Salal Mohammed to facilitate the final asphalt layer works.
A section of Al-Nouf Street (Al-Khor) will be closed for two days from 3pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The one-way closure will affect the intersection with Jabal Al-Afja Street to Isgawa Street. Those who need to travel through it are advised to use parallel streets and internal roads.
The second closure will take place on Sekrit Street (Umm Salal Mohammed) for 18 hours from 12am to 6pm on Friday, June 20, 2025. The closure will be in one direction from Al-Amir Street to Al-Hurriya Street. During the closure, drivers will be required to take a right turn onto Jabal Al-Afja Street, then Al-Hatheem Street, and finally connect with Isgawa Street to continue their journey.
Ashghal urged road users to adhere to traffic diversions and road signs to ensure smooth traffic flow during the closure. The authority apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their cooperation.
