The Doha Metro is known as one of the most innovative systems. It played a key role in facilitating transportation during major events such as the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Lusail Tram is known for its modern urban design. It is solar-powered and features smart charging and tracking technology.
UITP says Qatar is a global model in public transportation. It has shown strong progress in efficiency, sustainability and technology. These efforts support Qatar National Vision 2030 and prepare the country to host major international events.
