FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) have opened registration for volunteers for two major football events in Qatar, the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025 and the FIFA Arab Cup 2025. Both events will take place in November and December.
Approximately 4,000 volunteers will be selected to work in 30 different roles. Tasks will include assisting the media, welcoming fans, providing information and providing hospitality.
Who can apply?
- Must be a resident of Qatar
- Be at least 18 years old
- Speak English (Arabic or other languages are a plus)
- Able to attend the event and pre-event training
- No previous volunteer experience required
- Enjoy working with others and have a positive attitude
Registration is open for two weeks, with interviews starting in June at Lusail Stadium. If you have volunteered at a previous FIFA event in Qatar, you do not need to attend an interview again. You only need to submit one application for both events. However, volunteers can only work at one event.
Volunteers receive:
- Training for their role
- A special volunteer uniform
- Meals during their shifts
- Free public transport to event locations
- Gifts and souvenirs
