A new Metro Link service will start on Monday to improve transportation in the Al Thumama area. The new route, M150, will connect several key locations in the neighborhood. The service will start from Ras Bu Fantas Metro Station on the Red Line.
The bus will pass through key locations such as Al Thumama Stadium, Kahramaa Awareness Park, Al Meera Supermarket, Al Furjan Market, and three local schools. The aim of this new Metro Link is to make travel easier for residents, students, and shoppers in Al Thumama. It also helps connect people more easily with the Doha Metro system. The service is free and is part of efforts to encourage the use of public transport across Qatar.
