The Ministry of Education in Qatar has begun student registrations for the 2025-2026 academic year. Director Maryam Al Buainain says the process is going smoothly. Parents can register or transfer their children through the Ma’rif Portal for Public Services.

If a school is full, parents can choose an alternative school or contact their local school for assistance. The ministry is also offering a bus service for students after completing the initial registration. This gives parents the option of choosing transportation for their children. The ministry warns against misinformation on social media and advises parents to accept information only from official sources.

Two new schools will open this year to reduce overcrowding, and the ministry aims to open more schools in the future to prioritize education.
