Ashghal, the Public Works Authority, has announced that two roads in Qatar will be temporarily closed for maintenance.
The first closure will be on Salwa Road at the Umm Bab Interchange in the direction of Doha. The closure will last for one month from Sunday, May 11, 2025, to Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The closure will be in effect from 12 midnight to 5 am every night.
The second closure will be on Legtaifiya Street, which goes to Lusail. It will be closed for five hours from 2 am to 7 am on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Traffic will be diverted to Wadi Busidra Street during this time. Ashghal advised drivers to use alternative routes and adhere to road signs and speed limits to stay safe.
