Family ties, cultural similarities, and Qatar’s growing appeal as a festival destination are attracting thousands of people from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE. Its proximity, modern infrastructure, visa-free entry, and special Eid promotions make travel convenient and attractive.

Popular destinations such as Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village, Villaggio Mall, and Doha Festival City offered entertainment, shopping, and cultural events. Children enjoyed family-friendly activities, while traditional dishes and gatherings added to the festive spirit.

Hotels were reportedly almost fully booked. Local businesses saw a surge in activity. Smooth border procedures helped manage the increased flow of travelers. With strong regional ties and seamless travel, Qatar continues to emerge as a favorite Eid al-Fitr destination for GCC residents.
