According to Qatar National Bank (QNB), gold prices in the Qatar market rose 1.17% this week to $2,946.17 per ounce. Last Sunday, the price was $2,911.93. Other precious metals also recorded increases: silver rose 2.12% to $33.24 per ounce, and platinum rose 2.27% to $990.95 per ounce.

Meanwhile, oil prices eased after a recent surge, with Brent crude oil down 0.1% to $70.88 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude oil down 0.2% to $67.57.
