The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in cooperation with the Environmental Security Department of the Internal Security Forces (Lekhwiya), conducted inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in desert areas across Qatar to reduce environmental violations.

The Department of Wildlife Protection announced that a number of violations were imposed on those who violate environmental laws and regulations.

The Ministry calls on visitors to wild areas and grasslands to protect them and report any violations via hotline 16066.
