The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has developed a new Metrash app with more features to provide greater convenience to users using the Metrash app, said Brigadier Jassim Al Buhashim Al Saeed, Director-General of Communications and Information Systems.

Al-Saeed said that new services of profile, authorization and notification have been added to make users’ access to data and procedures more efficient.

The new features also include address management for document delivery purposes, locations of various service centers, and passport scanning for issuing visas. Al-Saeed added that new icons have been added to issue certificates and make all security services easier to access. There are also special services for GCC citizens, including renewing Qatar IDs and replacing lost or damaged ones.
