Qatar will also participate in the Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 in China from 7 to 14 February 2025. Curling will make its debut in Qatar on February 4, 2025.
A total of 1,275 male and female athletes from 34 Asian National Olympic Committees will compete in six sports across 11 disciplines. Qatar is represented by 15 athletes in four sports.
Ahmad Saad Al Fahad, Nasser Abdulrahman Al Yafai, Sarah Hamoud Al Qait, Mubarak Salem Al Merri, Mohammed Hassan Al Naimi, Naif Badr Al Rumaihi, Ahmad Al Fahad, Dana Ahmad Al Fahad, Abdulrahman Qassim Al Yafai, Fatima, Hasina Hassan Al Fahad, Mubarka Salem Al Abdullah, and Amina Hamoud Al Qait are participate in curling sport.
Mohammed Masood Al Abdullah, in short-track speed skating, Mohammed Khalid Al Kuwari in snowboarding, and Khalifa Ahmed Elmagarmid will compete in alpine skiing events.
The 9th Asian Winter Games will be held in China.
