The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the tournament organizing committee unveiled the official logo of the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qatar 2027, which will be held in the Middle East for the first time.
It embodies Qatar’s culture and tradition and the excitement of basketball fans worldwide. The new logo draws inspiration from the Bisht, the traditional male garb for special occasions in Qatar. At its core, the new logo has the James Naismith Trophy.
The three colours of tradition- logo-white, brown and black- represent the various phases of the tournament.
According to the officials, the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup is guaranteed to be the best. The sporting heritage and welcome of Qatar for guests will be the ways of opening up new avenues into the future of basketball.
