The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), under the leadership of the Department of Natural Reserves, has announced the soft launch of a new beach for motorhome owners in the Sealine region.
Basic facilities such as electricity, water, sewerage, and drainage have been provided.
The project’s official launch will take place in April. It is part of a wider initiative to provide better recreational opportunities for motorhome owners in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Motorhome owners are only allowed to stay on the beach for two nights. Accommodation is tailored to visitors’ needs.
The ministry said it is going ahead with the plan to extend the scheme to more beach locations in the future, provide support to ecotourism, and further improve facilities.
Motorhome owners should make use of these facilities, follow the rules and regulations to protect the environment, and welcome comments and suggestions to improve services.
