The Ministry of Health (MoPH) said that the beef pepperoni product “Country Butcher Boy” from the UAE has not been imported. Its expiration date is March 1, 2025.
The product was recalled after the Saudi Food and Drug Authority found the bacteria Listeria monvitogenes in the product. The Ministry of Health of Qatar advises those who have personally imported this product to avoid using it and destroy it.
The ministry said all food products imported into Qatar are subject to strict inspections and standards to ensure safety and quality.
