Qatar’s passport holders can travel to 112 countries without a visa

The Henley Passport Index 2025, released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), ranks the world’s most powerful passports. A total of 199 countries are eligible for visa-free travel. Qatar has moved up six places to 47th in the global ranking.

Qatar’s passport holders, who were ranked 53rd in January 2024, can travel to 112 out of 227 countries without a visa. In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the country was ranked 54th, 60th, 53rd and 55th respectively.

Among the GCC countries, Qatar is the second after the UAE to have visa-free access to 185 countries. Other Gulf countries are ranked as follows: Kuwait (50th, 99 countries) Bahrain (58th, 87 countries) Saudi Arabia (58th, 87 countries) Oman (59th, 86 countries)

Singapore has the most powerful passport in the world. You can travel to 195 countries without a visa. Japan is second with 193 countries.
