In partnership with Google, the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has launched a new project to introduce Qatar’s famous landmarks and cultural heritage to the world through Street View on Google Maps. Foreigners and tourists can now see all the main places in Qatar in Google’s 360 ° Street View.

Google Maps’ Street View features 220 billion images from more than 100 countries around the world. With this, all the routes and important places of Qatar will be easily visible to the tourists.

Street View helps you know where to go and what to do when you travel. Street View helps visitors get a first-hand understanding of Qatar’s museums and interesting travel experiences to many places such as Souq Waqif, The Corniche, Al-Subara Fort, and Sand Dunes Cruising in the Inland Sea.

These efforts are providing further impetus to Qatar’s cultural, tourism and business sectors.
