A record number of passengers arrived at Hamad International Airport in 2024. More than 52.7 million passengers flew to different countries through Hamad International Airport. This is an increase in 15% compared to the previous year’s results.
In 2024, the airport is expected to handle 4 million passengers per month. With the collective efforts of Doha Tourism, the number of domestic passengers increased by 16% due to the attraction of charter services.
The number of travelers to China increased by 87%. Asian markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam also showed strong growth. Travel to major countries in Europe such as the US, Germany, Spain and France has also increased.
In the Airports Council International’s (ACI) Airport Industry Connectivity Report for 2024, Hamad International Airport was named the best connectivity provider in the Middle East. Qatar is poised to become a global tourist destination. With this goal being achieved, we can expect more passengers in the coming years.
