His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar, inaugurated the new Turquoise line on the Lusail tram network yesterday (January 6, 2025). The opening of the new line on the Lusail tram network is part of efforts to develop Qatar’s transport facilities.

The Transport Minister visited the main stations of the tram line, the Main Control Center and other facilities and assessed the operational efficiency of the tram.

The Lusail tram network consists of 25 stations arranged in four coloured lines (Orange, Pink, Purple and Turquoise), covering a distance of 19 km. The Lusail Tram will further develop with the launch of the new Turquoise Line.

Through the newly launched Turquoise Line, residents and visitors of Lusail City have the opportunity to experience a completely eco-friendly mode of transportation and help fulfill Qatar’s eco-friendly goals.

The stations on the Turquoise Line are Lusail QNB, Al Yasmeen, Fox Hills-South, Lusail City, Al Khal Street, Fox Hills-North, Crescent Park-North, Roudat Lusail, Erkia and Lusail Stadium.
