The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that two tunnels will be temporarily closed from today (January 2).
Ashghal announced that the Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange Tunnel, which runs from Gharrafat Al Rayyan to Doha, will be closed. It will be closed for 8 hours from today till 5 am. Ashghal suggested that those coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan to Doha, use the Gharrafat Al Rayyan interchange signals as an alternative route.
On Friday, January 3, Ashgall announced that the Mesaimeer Interchange Tunnel on the road from Mesaieed Road to Industrial Area Road will be closed. It will be temporarily closed for eight hours from 2 am to 10 am for maintenance work. Ashghal advised those coming from the Mesaimee Road and going to the Industrial Area Road to use other routes shown on the attached map.
