Known as the center of Doha, Msheireb Downtown is expected to receive more than 15 million visitors in 2024. That’s an increase of 66%. In 2023, 9 million people visited downtown.

Many visitors also came to downtown as part of Qatar National Day celebrations. On December 18 alone, 119,727 visitors arrived at Msheireb Downtown Doha, an increase of 18% from 101,570 visitors as of 2023. The National Day celebrations, which lasted from December 17-21, saw 380,891 visitors. That’s a 13% increase from 2023.

“Msheireb Downtown Doha aims to host important events that bring people together while providing a conducive environment for families. The extraordinary turnout at Qatar’s National Day celebrations is a testament to this. The increase in the number of visitors to all facilities, including an increase in the use of car parking by 34%, is evidence that downtown is emerging as a place preferred by residents and visitors. In 2024, Msheireb Downtown Doha became the main venue for hosting national celebrations and international events in Qatar. The city has played an important role in the AFC Asian Cup, Ramadan, Eid celebrations, Qatar National Day celebrations and various cultural activities. Its prime location, state-of-the-art facilities and diverse entertainment offerings have made it a natural meeting place for residents and visitors to gather at Qatar’s most important celebrations and events.

In 2025, Msheireb Downtown Doha will host a wide variety of events. The first attractive event is Msheireb, which will be held at The Company House Courtyard from January 2 to 31.
