Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) has warned people to be careful with property rental advertisements circulating online. The Ministry of Home Affairs has expressed doubts over the advertisements of renting out residential properties with low-cost offers.

The ministry urged people to be cautious and check the legality of rental offers before proceeding with any transactions. The ministry stressed that people should be very careful when looking at unusually low-priced residential property lists.

The ministry also provided multiple channels to combat such online frauds and report suspicious online activities. They can report via the Metrash app or email cccc@moi. gov. qa.
