Muslim women

More women are attending the Al-Mujadilah Center, which aims to encourage Muslim women!

Launched in February 2024 for the purpose of uplifting Muslim women, the Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women Center has so far received a very positive reaction. To date, almost 20,000 people have visited the center. By providing chances for social, developmental, and religious study, the center draws Muslim women from diverse backgrounds.

Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women was founded by H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser with the aim of strengthening the Islamic values of Muslim women. The goal of this scenter is to create a Muslim community where women are actively involved, their contributions and participation are ensured, and their voices are heard.

The Center plays a key role in shaping modern Islamic thought, contributing to public debate, and discovering women’s concerns and perspectives.

The Fall 2024 programs, which focus on understanding the Quran, the role of Muslim women in times of conflict, and interactive journaling on the Prophet Muhammad’s zira, were events that drew large crowds.

The centre also has a library with books focusing on Islam, Muslim women and related social, political and cultural issues. It is open daily from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening.

The Al-Mujadilah will be open from 8am to 8pm from Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10.30 am to 1.30 pm on Fridays for Juma prayers.
