The registration process for the Qatar International Falconry and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2025) will begin today (Sunday) at the headquarters of the Al-Ghannas Qatari Society in the Kathara Cultural Village. The registration for the 16th edition of the festival will continue till December 26. The time for registration is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Marmi International Festival is one of the most important events organized by the Al-Ghanas Qatari Society after the inclusion of the “Falconry” in the Representative List of UNESCO Cultural Heritage in November 2010. This is part of efforts to preserve the cultural and emotional values of this traditional sport.
After registering for all the participants of the festival and conducting the draw for all the competition categories, the organizing committee aims to involve the youth more and give valuable prizes.
