In order to carry out road repairs, the Public Works Authority has announced that many roadways would be temporarily closed starting on December 17, 2024. Let’s look the closed roadways.
On Friday, December 20, 2024, Bani Hajer Interchange will be closed for eight hours, from 2 to 10 a.m. To get to Al-Shahama Street from Khalifa Boulevard, one should take the bridge to New Al-Rayyan Street, turn around at Al-Shafi’i Intersection, and then use the Bani Hajer Interchange Underpass.
Beginning at midnight on Thursday, December 19, 2024, and ending at 10 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2024, the Sabah Al-Ahmed Corridor service line that leads to the Al-Rayyan Palace intersection will be closed for repair. Road users can take alternate routes.
All side roads, with the exception of the right turn lane at the intersection, will be closed on Friday, December 20 from 2 am to 10 am at Muaither Club Intersection. However, drivers have the option to turn right and do a U-turn at the next intersection or roundabout.
For TSE pipeline repair, Al Waab Intersection will be closed from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, to 6 a.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024. It is recommended that drivers take the correct route in the direction of Nasser bin Salim.
