The World Summit AI kicked off on December 10, 2024, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. This two-day summit aims to revolutionize the AI sector in the region, with technology experts discussing various aspects of AI and technology.

Under the leadership of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the “Fanar” project was launched during the summit. Fanar is an Arabic generative AI model capable of understanding the intricacies of the Arabic language. It is designed to enhance language skills and produce culturally relevant Arabic content. This project is significant for the development of Arabic language models.
