F1 Qatar Grand Prix 2024: Record-Breaking Crowd Attendance

The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix 2024, organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, concluded on Sunday at the Lusail International Circuit with the presence of Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The circuit was packed to capacity, with fans filling every corner of the stands and all areas surrounding the 5.38-kilometer track. Approximately 155,000 spectators attended the three-day event, marking it as the largest motorsports crowd in Qatar’s history.

In a thrilling race that saw fierce competition for the lead, Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing emerged victorious after an eventful battle. The race also featured McLaren Mercedes’ Lando Norris receiving a penalty, which ultimately reshuffled the order and pushed Britain out of contention for the top spot. As Verstappen crossed the finish line to claim victory, the Lusail sky lit up with a dazzling display.

The event concluded with grandeur and was attended by Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Minister of Social Development Buthaina bint Ali Al Jaber Al Nuaimi, along with representatives from the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
