According to the World Bank’s 2024 statistics, Qatar has achieved the top position in key global governance indicators within its region. The country scored 84.36% in the Political Stability Index and 80.19% in the Rule of Law Index, securing its first-place ranking.
The council highlighted that Qatar’s improved standing in global governance indicators is attributed to the state’s relentless efforts and successful interventions to achieve sustainable development goals.
As per the World Bank’s 2023 statistics:
Regulatory Quality Index: 81.13%
Government Effectiveness Index: 85.85%
Participation and Accountability Index: 22.55%
The council noted that these achievements reflect Qatar’s commitment to adhering to the fundamental principles of governance.
