Dow Jones, Publisher of The Wall Street Journal, Plans to Open an Office in Doha in 2025

Dow Jones, the publisher of The Wall Street Journal, has announced plans to open a new operational center in Qatar next year. The move aims to establish the company as a key provider of premium business news and information across the Middle East and North Africa.

As part of this initiative, Qatar will host the Wall Street Journal Tech Live Conference for five consecutive years starting next year. This premier event brings together global CEOs, investors, and technology leaders.

Dow Jones also plans to register and operate in Media City Qatar, a global hub for media and technology companies fostering innovation and collaboration. Media City Qatar serves as a major center supporting startups and partnerships.

In a statement, Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office, said that this move will further enhance Qatar’s reputation as a prime destination for global media and technology companies.

This announcement is part of Dow Jones’ broader strategy to strengthen its global presence in the Middle East by 2025.
