The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has announced a holiday for educational institutions tomorrow, November 5, 2024. The day off has been granted to encourage effective public participation in the 2024 constitutional amendment referendum.

“Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, will be a holiday for all public and private schools in the country, including both academic and administrative staff,” the Ministry announced on social media.

They added that this decision aims to facilitate the participation of all residents of Qatar in the national referendum, particularly those aged 18 and above.

The Ministry further clarified that this circular does not apply to universities and higher education institutions in the country.
