Qatar is on track to achieve the goals of its National Cybersecurity Strategy for 2024-2030

The country has placed a strong emphasis on proactively addressing the continuous changes in the cybersecurity landscape and enhancing international cooperation to ensure a secure digital environment.

In the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2024 rankings, Qatar secured a leading position, being classified as a ‘Role-Model’ country in the field of cybersecurity on the international stage—a significant achievement within the GCC.

The National Cybersecurity Strategy 2024-2030 aims to position Qatar among the top countries capable of securely utilizing current technologies.

In a podcast titled Secure Your Data, Alya Al Kuwari from the National Cyber Security Agency shared valuable tips on protecting against cyber threats. She discussed the wide-ranging impacts of cybersecurity, stressing that it is not limited to experts and specialists but extends to everyone using electronic systems.

Cybersecurity is a comprehensive system designed to protect networks, software, devices, and data from cyberattacks and threats. Its primary objective is to ensure that information remains secure and confidential, as Al Kuwari explained.
